16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
1 John 4:7-8
7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 4:9-11
9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any power 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we are still sinners, Christ died for us.
26 Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love endure forever.
4 But because of his great love for us, God who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgression-it is by grace you have been saved.
15 But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.
17 The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He well take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.
1 John 3:1
1 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not known him.
13 Greater love he has no one than this: to lay down one’s life one’s friends.
9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.
7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. 8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret-it leads only to evil. 9 For those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.
